Walksnail Avatar GT Kit – Dual Antennas Version

The Walksnail Avatar GT Kit – Dual Antennas Version is a digital video transmitter for the Walksnail Avatar HD system.

This video transmitter can reach up to 2 Watt of output power* and offers a resolution up to 1080P (Full HD) at 100 Frames per second.

A top mounted cooling fan is installed to effectively dissipate heat even under circumstances where airflow is not ideal. The fan is removable when no extra cooling is needed. A Micro SD card can be inserted to capture your flights in either 1080P or 720P resolution.

A new design element on this digital video transmitter is the installation of two internal ceramic antenna’s. This ceramic antenna’s optimizes performance of the VTX during Low power mode to minimize power consumption, heat generation and RF environment flooding. Another invisible improvement for the Walksnail Avatar GT Kit is the improved resistance to GPS interference to ensure a more stable and reliable experience. A wide input voltage of 11.1V – 25.2V makes sure that you can easily add it to your model of choice. This video transmitter has a mounting pattern for both 25.5*25.5mm and 20*20mm. Total dimensions of the vtx are 34*34*20mm. Of course, Canvas mode is supported as OSD.

The Walksnail Avatar GT uses the famous Pro camera, that uses the 1/1.8 inch Sony Starvis II sensor. This camera with a native aspect ratio of 16:9 supports up to 1080P 60FPS and  is really good in both daylight and in circumstances with less ideal lightning conditions. Dimensions of this camera are 19 * 19 * 24mm and only weights 9.5 gram. Thanks to the aperture of F1.6 and a very sensitive sensor, the minimum required illumnation is only 0.00001 Lux. The Pro camera has built-in support for Gyroflow, to offer great stabilization options in post production. This kit supports both high frame and standard frame rate, selectable through the menu. By using the high frame mode, average delay is just 22ms.

The use of dual antenna’s make sure that you get the best connection possible. When one of the antenna’s received signal strength drops, the other one will take over. This way, you can position the antenna’s in such a way that reception for your Walksnail Avatar GT Kit is the best as possible under all banking angles.
