FrSky Archer Plus GR8 Glider Receiver with upgraded high-precision variometer
The FrSky Archer Plus GR8 Glider Receiver is specifically designed for use in gliders. This receiver features an integrated and upgraded high precision variometer that will give you telemetry data like altitude and vertical speed. The FrSky Archer Plus GR8 supports a redundancy function, so this receiver can be added to another receiver to create a back-up in case one fails. Both PWM and SBUS are supported. PWM gives you 8 output channels for conventional servo’s and SBUS gives you 16 channels from the SBUS port.

The Archer Plus GR8 8 high-precision PWM channel receivers support full-range signal strength with dual detachable antennas and guarantee optimal antenna reception and range. The GR8 can be used as a Primary receiver in a redundant solution by wiring the SBUS In port and connecting to any other FrSky receiver equipped with an SBUS Out port. With the FBUS protocol, the Archer Plus series receivers can open up the possibility of seamlessly pairing with multiple telemetry devices (XACT servos, ADV Sensors, etc.) as well as simplifying the builds setup.

How to use them with a Multi-Module transmitter
This receiver has upgradeable firmware.
Firmware can be downloaded at https://www.frsky-rc.com/archer-plus-gr8/
Binding to a Multi-Module transmitter can be done like this:
- Update transmitter EdgeTX to latest firmware (2.10.2 at the time of writing)
- Update transmitter Multi-Module to latest firmware (1.3.4.0 at the time of writing)
- Update receiver to latest firmware (2.1.14 at the time of writing)
- Bind as:
- Mode: Multi FrSkyX2
- RF Protocol: EU LBT (or D16 in FCC region)
