EdgeTX and OpenTX compatible
The RadioMaster TX12 Mark II comes pre-installed with EdgeTX, the cutting edge software that is constantly improving and evolving. Thanks to close cooperation between RadioMaster and the EdgeTX development team, EdgeTX runs great on the RadioMaster TX12 Mark II and the user experience is optimized. By continually contributing and supporting opensource projects like EdgeTX, RadioMaster ensures that the concepts of open standards are carried forward.
RadioMaster TX12 Mark II: available in ELRS and CC2500 version
The RadioMaster TX12 Mark II is now available in ELRS (ExpressLRS) and CC2500 version.
The ExpressLRS version features an internal ELRS module. This internal rf module is powered by the opensource software ExpressLRS. With this version you can only use ELRS capable receivers like our RadioMaster RP1 or RP2 ExpressLRS receivers.
With the CC2500 version you can bind to any receiver that uses the CC2500 chipset. This internal rf module is powered by the Multi-Module opensource software The mostly used receivers protocols that works with the CC2500 version are FrSky D, FrSky L, FrSky V, FrSky X, Futaba SFHSS, Graupner Hott & Hitec.
Our RadioMaster FrSky compatible receivers work great with the CC2500 version.
TX12 MKII – upgraded processor
The main processor is upgraded from the STM32F207 to the STM32F407, resulting in increased computation power, more options and more flash size / ram size. The faster computation power makes sure that your transmitter always is blazing fast and that EdgeTX runs totally fluently.
Upgraded Hall gimbals & Full size JR module bay
The RadioMaster TX12 Mark II features a new version Hall Gimbals that utilizes the same chipset as the AG01 gimbals. Thanks to this upgraded chipset and upgraded circuitry, center point positioning is improved and the gimbals are less prone to temperature drift. This results in better performing gimbals in all circumstances.
The Hall Gimbals on the TX12 MK II are easy adjustable without disassembly. You can set up a minimum gimbal travel range of 38 degrees and maximum of 54 degrees by using the set screws. This way you can set up your gimbal totally to your personal preference.
The full size JR module bay lets you extend your TX12 Mark II with any module that adheres to the JR module bay standard that’s on the market. Extend your transmitter with extra rf protocols like TBS Crossfire, external multi-module, external ELRS module, etc.
USB simulator & Trainer port
Connect your transmitter to your simulator software by simply using an USB-C cable between your TX12 and your pc. There’s no need to buy any special adapters to use your favorite simulator software.
Improve your flying skills without any crash costs.
The integrated 3.5mm Trainer Port on top of the RadioMaster TX12 Mark II lets you connect your transmitter to other transmitters. Easily use your transmitter as a master or slave transmitter and learn how to fly or learn others how to fly.
The Trainer cable is not included with the TX12, but you can buy our trainer cable set to be sure that it works great with your transmitter.
USB-C Quick Charging 3.0
The TX12 MK II features a new charging circuit. You can now charge your TX12 with USB-C Quick charging by using a capable QC 3.0 charger and a usb-c cable.
Charging goes way faster thanks to QC 3.0 and the USB-C connector makes the transmitter compatible with all modern usb-c cables.
Improved battery bay
The battery bay is now even bigger. This allows you to use dual 18650 or dual 21700 Li-Ion cells or 2S lipo’s up to 74x60x22mm
We highly recommend to use the official RadioMaster 5000mAh 21700 Li-Ion cell pack to make sure that all works the best possible.
BLE Joystick mode for ExpressLRS edition
Connect your RadioMaster TX12 Mark II to your pc, tablet or phone by using Bluetooth. This allows you to play simulators and games wirelessly without the need for any cables. This feature is possible only with ELRS versions; the internal ELRS module features a bluetooth chip that makes this possible.
* ELRS version only!
Improved Ergonomics and Sliders
The rear case now features improved ergonomic grips, resulting in more comfort when using the TX12. Both sliders are improved and now feel way better than the old version.
